As the Director of Worldwide Education, Mike is responsible for constructing relevant solutions which improve outcomes for students at all levels of academia.  He collaborates across Lenovo lines of business to ensure that educational needs are addressed in the research, development and application of our offerings.  Most importantly, he listens to teachers, professors and administrators to ensure that the best innovations are shared globally, and that these ideas are incorporated into our solutions to help institutions maximize their performance.

Mike will admit to being obsessed with educational innovation and policy reform.  He currently serves as a board member on a number of education-focused organizations: the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, the North Carolina Public School Forum and the North Carolina Center for Science, Mathematics and Technology.  Mike is also the executive director of ThinkTank International, a best practices community designed to manage and distribute knowledge pertaining to mobile computing in K12 and Higher Education.  He earned a B.A. in Classics from Colgate University and currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC with his wife, Rian, and daughters, Tatum and Lindy.
