July’s Star Festival

020-01
Night View from Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills Tower, 40th floor
Tokyo Tower, at its full grace
We had such a great time at the Lenovo Japan party, inviting everyone at Lenovo Japan.

020-02
Wishing prosperity for our business
July 7th was the Star Festival (Tanabata) in Japan, and as traditionally done, we wrote down our wishes on colorful paper strips.

020-03
Dressed for Party: Yukata
Wondering why so many of us are dressed in the Summer Kimono “Yukata”? Because ThinkPad T400s Giveaway competition was only open for Yukata attendees.
Although the giveaway was announced only a day in advance (how evil), around 40 to 50 people joined the competition.

020-04
Let’s put the war face on
Pre-competition war face
“Spartans, who wants to own the T400s????”
“I do !!”

020-05
Paper Plane Contest
The final winner was determined by self-made paper planes

020-06
Victory Smile
T400s was claimed by a new comer, who actually managed to fly his plane above the Tokyo Tower (lol).

Now that we had our fun, we look forward to kicking off the this Quarter.

Fantastic having the Yamato and Lenovo team together for a party !
I thought some of the games were brilliant and Watanabe san, the Yamato intern, winning the T400s was even better !
